About
"Farmers and ranchers work too hard to be held back by inefficient, expensive methods. We started this company because we know the land, we know the people, and we knew there was a better way. That's still what drives us every day."
Great Basin Aerial
Great Basin Aerial was built on a simple belief: farmers and ranchers deserve better tools and a team that truly understands the land. We combine decades of on-the-ground agricultural and ecological experience with modern drone technology to deliver efficient, cost-effective aerial services across the Great Basin region.
Our Team
Brant Stevens
Brant was raised in Ephraim, Utah, surrounded by the farming and ranching community that shaped everything he does. Growing up alongside his father — who holds a PhD in ecology and botany — Brant developed a deep, instinctive understanding of the land from an early age. He started doing seed picking and cleaning at 13 and has been involved in ecological consulting ever since.
With a professional background in sales, Brant is the relationship-builder at Great Basin Aerial. He has a knack for listening to what farmers and ranchers actually need and finding the right solution — whether that's a single spray run or a full-season crop management plan. He still takes on ecological consulting work and brings that scientific foundation to every client conversation.
Brant started Great Basin Aerial because he saw firsthand how much time, money, and stress traditional spraying methods cost the people he grew up around. He wanted to give them something better.
Co-Founder
Zane Stevens
Zane grew up in the same Ephraim farming community as his brother Brant, working side by side with their father in the field and developing a firsthand love for the ecology of the Great Basin. That upbringing led him to years of ecological consulting, seed work, and time on range crew — giving him a ground-level perspective on rangelands and vegetation that few people in the aerial ag industry can match.
A licensed pharmacist by trade, Zane brings a precise, detail-oriented mindset to everything he does. Whether he's calibrating application rates, navigating tricky terrain, or planning a fire reclamation project, his approach is methodical and thorough. That combination of scientific rigor and real-world range experience makes him uniquely equipped to handle complex, large-scale jobs.
Zane Founded Great Basin Aerial out of a genuine passion for helping the agricultural community work smarter. He knows what it takes to manage land sustainably — and he's built this business to make that easier for the farmers and ranchers who depend on it.
